Project Management Services

As mentioned in the About section, with my Project Management experience, I will be able to help you through the “procurement phase” of your home project.  What does this mean?  Here’s an example:

Let’s say you want to paint the interior of your house and you want different colors in each room and you want to get three bids for the job.  You could take the time to arrange and meet with three different painting companies to explain the job to each of them.  This could further involve taking off on 3 different days and driving to the beach to meet with each of them individually.  Then you may have to chase each of them down to get their bids.  That’s a lot of your time.

I offer you an easier way.  You meet with me, once, at your convenience, and explain everything to me.  Once I verify that I have captured all of your requirements, you’re done.  I will function as your liaison with the painter.  I will contact the painting companies and arrange to meet them at your house to review the project and what it is that you want done.  I will then collect the bids from each and give them an initial review to make sure that they captured everything and to make a recommendation on which one you should go with (the final decision is yours, of course).  Once you’ve hired your painter, I can be available to assist you in monitoring their progress if you like.  This could range from checking on them once a day to staying with them all day.  I can also be available to assist with verifying their work at completion.  Depending on your schedule, I could always verify their completed work and video chat with you so that you could see the finished product for yourself via your computer or smart phone.  This provides you peace of mind and instant feedback.  If we notice that something was missed, I will work with the contractor to correct the matter.

I charge a fixed hourly rate for these services so you can utilize my services as much or as little as you need.  I am flexible so let’s talk and see how I can assist you with your home projects.
